The silver lake made a beautiful sight to see on the warm summer night. The fieflies danced above the water and the two young lovers could see the reflections on the still as glass water.Andy was excited for what he was about to do. He was about to start the next chapter of his life.
"Isn't this great?" asked Andy.
"Yes, its gorgeous," replied his steady girlfriend of three years. Gina kissed him softly on the cheek.
"How was your dinner?"
"Oh it was really good. We went on our first date there, remember?"
"Yes, and you wore that beautiful red dress. You looked amazing."
"How can you remember that?"
"How could I forget?"
They laughed and kissed some more. Then they sat in silence for a while, watching the fireflies over the lake. All the while, Andy thinking about what was about to happen. He was excited and nervous and happy and scared all at the same time. Finally, he got off of the car and kneeled in front of her. He too her hand in his and asked,
"Gina, will you please marry me?"
